convenient location nice breakfast helpful staff scurrying rat strange noise rodent problem
the location was quite convenient for accessing horseshoe bay ferries. the breakfast offered a nice selection. the staff was very helpful.
i noticed a rat scurrying near the building upon my arrival. weird noises came from the walls during the night. maintenance checked the bathroom, but the rodent seemed to be behind the shower wall.

solid stay near grouse mountain
breakfast buffet short drive clean room comfortable bed
The breakfast buffet was pretty standard. I saw breads, pastries, cereal, and yogurt, which totally worked for me. the location was great. Grouse mountain car park was just a short drive away. i found capilano suspension bridge park was even closer. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
My room could use some updating though. It felt a little dated.

the staff was always busy cleaning and restocking breakfast items, that was nice to see. the environment felt quiet and i appreciated the respectful staff behavior, , made a difference to me.

My room was in the renovated block across from reception. It felt clean. it was also well kept. i had no issues with noise from other guests .

The location was convenient to shops and restaurants. Some were in walking distance. i found it was close to vancouver downtown and stanley park. grouse mountain and capilano suspension bridge are easy to access from here too.

adequate stay with some drawbacks
limited variety thin walls
i encountered some issues. the breakfast lacked variety. also, the walls seemed thin, and i could hear noise from adjacent rooms at night. this disrupted my sleep and made it difficult to relax fully.
